Manchester band Biting Tongues . a recording from 1985 .released as part of an E.P. on Factory Records .FAC 134 "Troublehand" . Video from "Wall Of Surf" a VHS only video compilation on Ikon, from 1987.
Recording available on the LTM CD "Compressed" or Strut compilation "Fac .Dance 2"(2012).
Studio techniques at the time include early digital sampling using a BEL delay 's hold function (upright piano), loops of Belisha beacon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belisha_beacon) pyrex and kidney dishes & Lowenbrau shekere. also 2 Glass Quicas (sheets of glass played with polystyrene)
