BITCHES BREW: Cosmo's record label named after the difficult Miles Davis album that fused rock and jazz. The catalogue spans musical genres from house, soul and disco to Afrobeat, dub and psychedelic rock whilst pushing the boundaries in between. Most of the productions on Bitches Brew have Cosmo’s hand such as: her psychedelic disco duo with Ashley Beedle called DarkStarr, her outfit Wild Rumpus with former Beefheart axe-man Gary Lucas, and her Latin-tinged act Bambú with Ben Mitchell and Billie Godfrey of Sao Benitez & Mr Hermano. WILD RUMPUS: Wild Rumpus is Cosmo and former Captain Beefheart axeman and Jeff Buckley collaborator Gary Lucas. With Wild Rumpus they bring together seemingly contradictory sounds such as disco, rock, surf music, blues, dub and country while enlisting some extraordinary talent along the way. Collaborators include UK beatbox champion Beardyman, MC Brother Culture of Manasseh Hi-Fi and percussionist Ben Mitchell of Sao Benitez and Mr. Hermano. LUCKY CLOUD SOUND SYSTEM: Cosmo is one of the directors of Lucky Cloud Sound System which host four annual parties with David Mancuso from The Loft in New York City. Their audiophile sound system is based upon the template created by Mancuso for his own parties which are currently celebrating their 40th anniversary. Cosmo also co-produced the David Mancuso Presents the Loft compilations for Nuphonic and is the European distributor for Mancuso's label The Loft Audiophile Library of Music. www.loftparty.org
