DESCRIPTION:
We recently serviced an EMS Synthi AKS here at The Analog Lab in NYC. The unit came in for repair,refurbishment, and the modifications were streamlined. The mods were done for Studio Hofschneider Berlin. The owner had the original document of all the modifications.

The AKS has its own sound and has definitely stood the test of time. It is very easy to overdrive and the envelopes are generally a little wonky, but its a classic sound.

We decided it would be fun to have a classic British synth playing the Doctor Who Theme. Allons-y!
