Vital, energetic and life affirming are not words often associated with modern Indie acts, Big Wednesday however, look set to change that. Not satisfied with writing the kind of songs that will remain firmly embedded in your subconscious long after even the most cursory listen, Big Wednesday inject every note with a youthful passion that ensures that you won't just be humming the songs in your head; you'll be frantically tapping on the table as well.



Big Wednesdays massive unsigned success so far makes it extremely likely that you have heard them without even knowing.

With Jack and Mary used on PC Computer game Trackmania Sunrise, another track, Home available on every new Creative Lab MP3 Player sold worldwide, a digital release on i-Tunes and Napster and a live set and ary made about the band on M-Channel (Sky Digital Channel 475), Big Wednesdays studio work continues to gain national praise and recognition.



This high level of studio success is also matched by their live performances with highlights so far being Festival appearances at The Carling Reading Festival 2006, Main Stage at Guilfest supporting Blondie, The Stranglers and Nizlopi, playing the prestigious Club NME Nights and winning a very fiercely contested Nokia Battle of the Bands contest.



It's not hard to see what all the fuss is about either; melodic suss, classic song writing, a knack for writing instantly memorable songs and consistent euphoric live performances create a firm belief in anyone who has heard Big Wednesday knows that they are a band to be taken very seriously indeed.
