A true wordsmith, BIGREC simply moves people. He made his charismatic presence felt globally by appearing on the internationally-syndicated WHEEL OF FORTUNE. The major highlight, however, was becoming the FIRST [& currently, only] person to actually rap on the renown game show. BIGREC has been branded as a high-energy, dominant performer, who commands & holds the attention of the audience with diverse music & crystal-clear lyricism. Equally diverse has been his audience, having shared stages with the likes of Juvenile, Paul Wall & Devin the Dude.to that of Raekwon, Buckshot & KRS-ONE.
His 2004 debut LP "Chronicles: The Lineage, Life & Legacy" received critical acclaim from several underground sources. His sophomore effort, "Go Hard.The Album" was a tribute to his home of 13 years, Tulsa, Oklahoma. His songs "Nostalgia", "Life Is a Process", "Go Hard/Go Hard REMIX" dominated Oklahoma urban radio from 2004-2006. After relocating to Atlanta, GA in 2007, BIGREC has achieved numerous accolades for his performances throughout the ATL underground scene. In 2009, he aligned with four renown underground veterans to form hip-hop super-crew THE-5IVE [made up of himself, Jawz of Life, K.P., Shred The Verbal Tongue & Snub Zero]. BIGREC has garnered the respect of his peers, while winning over several industry heavyweights, most notably legendary producer/MC Diamond D of Digging In The Crates (D.I.T.C.) fame. With an exclusive project w/ Diamond D on deck, and a full-length opus yet to come, BIGREC is well on his way to becoming one of the prominent voices of his time.
At the heart of this modern-day 'renaissance man' is a viral movement currently making a mark in the ATL music scene: RHHIB [REAL HIP HOP IS BACK].
