Corrosive Sweden - "Big Mouth"

Artist Biography: Corrosive Sweden is from Sweden and was established in 1997 by Johan Bengtsson, Simon Tengstrand & Thomas Hedin. Like most bands, it was in the beginning a fun thing and the ambitions was not particularly high .

In 2000 Christer Ulander joined the band as a lead guitarist. The band recorded the first demo Lost In Fame. The demo contains seven songs which become very popular around the hometown.

The following year Corrosive Sweden recorded a seven track demo called Someone 's watching. Corrosive Sweden also got the opportunity to play as a opening act to The Hives.

In 2002 the third demo Corrosive Sweden was recorded. The band participates in a large music competition for all unsigned bands in the county. A second place in the competition gave a gig with not entirely unknown Samantha Fox. '

In 2003 & 2004 Corrosive Sweden plays with many established acts such as The Hellacopters , Petter & Tad Morose. Some festivals also received a visit from Swedens hardest working band. Daniel Hedin replaces brother Thomas on drums & fourth demon History was recorded.

2005 Corrosive Sweden won the music contest
King of Rock who resulted in the first full disc WANTED 2006. The year continues with gigs including as opening act to Backyard Babies

After the releaseparty to WANTED 2006 Corrosive Sweden started to record the sequel to WANTED 2006. FROM THIS DAY TO ETERNITY ( the 3rd chapter ) is released in 2008.
Lars Grahn replaced Simon on bass and four music videos is also released. With the song UPRISING is Corrosive Sweden one of 13 finalists for CD radio Gavleborgs prestigious music prize in 2008.
Moreover, the only metal band that fought their way to this list.

In 2009 , the band has many gigs around the country. They also released the live album LIVE IN DARK CITY for download on the website.

In 2010 the band decided for various reasons to cut back on gigs and writing new material for the next album .

A little appetizer BIG MOUTH recorded in 2012 and released on Sound Cloud . Johan retired his guitarplaying and Peter " Malcolm" Forss joined as guitarist in the band. SCARS (part 1) was released in May 2013.
Corrosive Sweden is on the road again . At the same time the band is recording SCARS (part 2) The EP will be released in late 2013.
