Rapping since age nine, BIG FACE 100s was introduced to the rap game by Chicago's dynamic duo production team Spike and Jamahl. These top hit makers are best known for their work on hit singles for such artists as Monica (with the chart topping "So Gone,") Beanie Siegel featuring Jay Z, and The Diplomats. Spike and Jamahl were so captivated by his raw talent they insisted that he come and make his presence felt on the mic. However, as the years progressed, their talented apprentice chose to develop his skills for street hustling instead, granting his music career little attention. Fast money quickly became the main focus. He soon earned the name BIG FACE, given by neighborhood friends who began to notice his flashiness and the large amounts of big bills he always carried. In the past, the talented MC often allowed his thirst for cash to lead him down a destructive path. Today this same intense hunger drives him to raise his game, and achieve the success he desires, with no glitz, glamour or PR strategy to sell records. His image is a genuine representation of his character. He takes his word straight to the audience and has stayed true to the grass roots hip-hop movement with his many underground performances around the city and collaborations with other Chicago artist and producers such as FireWater. BIG FACE 100s has never wanted to glorify hustling and street life in his music, yet in order to speak honestly of his experiences and tell a true story, he finds it necessary to describe the issues that have plagued the community he grew up in and many others in the inner-city. BIG FACE 100s knows well the trials and tribulations Chicago's streets. With the release of his latest Mixtape "CITY UNDER SIEGE VOL. 1," he brings these experiences to the mic raw and unrestricted. He released the mixtape under the label R.L.M.G owned by his manager TROY REAL and himself. Inspired by the artistry, energy and creativity of his self-proclaimed greatest teachers Rakim, Tupac and Jay Z, Big Face plans to drop a 10 album diary all under his label. He then foresees putting the mic to rest with the hopes of achieving his relentless pursuit for success, by representing the real life of Chicago's inner-city to the fullest.
