Artist Biography: Take Her to Athena are a five piece Metalcore band from Derby, UK. Influenced by bands such as August Burns Red, Parkway Drive and Texas In July they bring their own brand of Metalcore to the UK.

Take Her To Athena have been through a number of different lineup changes over the past few years, but in the past six months have discovered a solid and talented lineup, which is extremely noticeable due to their hard work and commitment. They released their debut EP "Chronicles" in January this year, with their current line up and have continuously played shows and now receive the recognition they deserve in the local music scene. Take Her To Athena have began to branch out recently playing live sets in the north of the UK and have received fantastic feedback at each show, selling plenty of merchandise and being approached on many occasions for availability for live shows from promoters. Take Her To Athena recently competed in The Nevermore Battle Of The Bands in Stoke-On-Trent and won, with a fantastic and memorable performance.

The music they write has it all from technical and intricate guitars, technical solos, crushing breakdowns, aggressive vocals and hard hitting drums giving them a distinctive sound. Take Her to Athena's live shows are not to be missed, with an aggressive and exciting stage presence but still producing a tight musical set, which instantly turns heads.

In the 8 months of 2013, Take Her to Athena have progressed at a rapid rate and will continue to for the rest of the year. New material is already being wrote and new merchandise is in the works. Shows are constantly on the go and they are building their list up to make sure they have a jam packed year!
