Back in the wild 1970s, psychic Uri Geller was the new hot talk show guest, with his "psychokinetic" ability to bend spoons and keys. So Columbia Records allowed him to try bending ears as well. Teaming up with pianist Byron Janis and composer- arranger Del Newman, Geller gifted his disciples with an album of swirling strings and oohing choruses, topped with his own spoken lyrics, all recited in a sensitive, high-pitched whisper, complete with thick Israeli accent. And, oh! What lyrics they are! To quote a few random phrases: "Hear, the voice, the soft enchanted voice" that "makes the flowers dream" as stars "drip of thunder colours," and "a tiny drop of tear" falls off "the eye of a molecule." This raises The Eternal Question, "What the HELL is he talking about?" That, he cannot tell you. But he can tell you how to bend spoons with your brain!

A wag at the time said If the LP is not warped when you take it out of the sleeve, then it s obviously defective!
