Ben has been playing music for almost twenty years. Ben honed his skills from an early age. He played alongside his parents during church service and also with his high school jazz band.

Ben attributes much of his early studies to his father and former teacher/retired session guitarist Ralph Grasso. After being invited to attend the Los Angeles Music Academy to pursue a career as a session bassist, Ben relocated to Los Angeles and began his journey.

While working on his craft in Los Angeles, he discovered a passion for producing and writing music in addition to performing. During his tenure in Los Angeles, Ben worked with several artist including Teena Marie, Taylor Dane, Eddie Money, Mark Mc Grath(Sugar Ray), Skip Martin(Kool & the Gang), Bobby Kimball(Toto), Steve Augeri(journey), The Rembrandts, Debbie Debb, Tommy Tutone, and countless other establish industry names. In addition to playing the bass, drums, guitar, and piano, Ben is a vocalist.

He has performed at various venues along the Central Coast of California and has traveled the globe with a variety of groups. Ben's latest single, “Talking in Your Sleep,” is a cover of one of his favorite songs by The Romantics. He is currently working on a solo album.
