Where Are You Purple Melting Crayons? - Video
PUBLISHED:  Jun 04, 2014
DESCRIPTION:
have some old tracks of guitar parts, from a few seconds to half a minute, and a couple of orphan bass parts too, but I only used one. These are from 2001, recording amp-demos in Montreal with Len Flint. Today I built a song with them yesterday, using just the guitar parts, that one bass part and my voice, recorded through this 2006 MacBook's little tiny microphone, like a pin hole, the fan running added noise, ...so I used that too.

As weird as it sounds, it's actually just guitar, bass and voice. ...albeit highly processed. ...and very Lo-Fi.

I used several different softwares to make this, mostly old ones; iMovie 6, Screenflow, iSkysoft iMedia Converter, and Audacity 2.0.5 for the audio recording and mixing. At one point I was editing two iMovies when it crashed (this Mac only has 2 gig RAM!) lost both videos while they were rendering. Still pretty good for the first model MacBook ever made....

I like the second version better....

Music written, recorded and video all in a few hours, ...ha HA!
