DESCRIPTION:
i've been fascinated with this 'traditional shaker melody' for some time now. ken burns certainly did a fine job of burning it in my brain as a song of exploration and adventure.

that's me there on the johnson banjo. and also me there on the ol' goya mandolin as well. as you can see, i am not a professional musician, but i have found that exploration with the banjo and mandolin have acted as sort of farmers of my creative process. seeds are planted when i play with music. when they grow, i produce my art.
