Here's a little film of a breezy New Year's Day featuring the one-off, wild and wonderful Beccy Owen's Pop Up Choir: 'Sing At Some Swimmers!'

One January 1st, 2017, a group of relative strangers from across the North East, with no experience of singing together, bravely answered the call on social media to come together, briefly rehearse some joyful, maritime-themes songs - we had about 1/2 an hour to run through ten songs - and then head down to the beach to serenade the annual Whitley Bay New Year's Day Dippers. Respect to them: it was bloomin' cold!
