Blake Paulson experiments and compares some of his bass drums and drum heads at Unleashed Drum Studio in North Hollywood, CA.

The audio and mixing settings are identical for each sample. The best efforts were made to make each sample similar in volume. Please note that many more sounds are possible from the same drums and heads by changing the tuning, muffling, microphone positions, and/or EQ and mixing settings.
