DESCRIPTION:
Project Leftovers is a creative collaboration pairing 7090 with three composers from Canada and four from the Netherlands in an innovative fashion. The seven participating composers were invited to share their “leftovers” – composition scraps that have been discarded or unused over the years – with the performers, who then worked creatively to make a concert out of these various fragments. The composers worked together with 7090 under the mentorship of Christopher Butterfield and Yannis Kyriakidis for a week, preceding the concert in preparation for this eccentric collaboration.

7090 is Bas Wiegers, Koen Kaptijn, Nora Mulder and worked together with composers Adam Basanta, Noriko Koide, Thanasis Deligiannis, Gabriel Dharmoo, Grzegorz Marciniak, Christopher Reiche, Bart de Vrees.
