DESCRIPTION:
Cabaret Marianne, Tammy Faye's stunning appreciation of Marianne Faithfull in song and story was performed for five nights in October at the club Pangea in Manhattan. The last night, Oct. 29, approximately coincided with the birthday of songwriter/ guitarist Barry Reynolds who wrote this song and plays behind the Tammy. Eszter Balint on violin, Richard Feridun on guitar and David Dunton on piano.
The house dimmed the lights, brought out a flaming birthday cake and we all sang "Happy Birthday" to Barry ( also Marianne Fathfull's guitarist.) He gets a big hug from Tammy. 10/29/15
