Remember the first time you heard The Ramones and suddenly 60% of your albums became obsolete? Prepare yourself for a similar traverse with THE STUBBLES. By any stretch, THE STUBBLES are not a casual listen; the group sing songs about -- amongst other things -- retarded chicks, midgets, and mostly deviant girl/boy adolescent sex. Formed in 1989 in the back of a Chevy cargo van, THE STUBBLES had a 3-year playing frenzy under the apt name BARNEY RUBBLE AND THE CUNT STUBBLE; with the release of their first album "Soap Sud Enema" [Flexible Manikin / Mutha 1991] the band achieved national and international acclaim in the comedy rock genre, and perform as an opener to scores of major touring acts. Over-consumption, lawsuits and a tumultuous band breakup followed. Through the years, their infamous popularity and sound lingers on. A few rehabs later -- and armed with an arsenal of new songs in 2006 -- the band reemerged to resume Rock n' Roll warfare.
