All the way from Kansas City to celebrate Olu's Dream with Shane Evans, Barclay Martin found a home at BloomBars

Barclay Martin began as a singer/songwriter in 2000 as the co-founder of the Michigan-based acoustic band Potato Moon. The regionally acclaimed self-titled debut marked the beginning of a recording career highlighted by international travel and performance.

After living Latin America and Great Britain, he returned to the States to release Promise on a String in 2004, followed by a 9 month solo national tour.

Over the past several years, Mr. Martin has helped to produce scores of live presentations, culminating in his current project, the Barclay Martin Ensemble. Their debut record,Dawn, was released to acclaim in June of 2008.

Presently, Mr. Martin is co-producing the CFCA documentary film, Zamboanga, for which he was also the composer and music director. Having written songs for four albums, live events and not-for-profit organizations, Zamboanga is Martin's first foray into documentary filmmaking.
