DESCRIPTION: (NatGeo Locked Up Abroad Spain) Scene Featuring P.O.P In Locked Up Abroad Spain (National Geographic) Locked Up Abroad Spain is the story of Michael Morey and his ill-fated attempt to smuggle cocaine from Ecuador to Europe for Colombian drug barons. At the time, he and his girlfriend were expecting a child and in desperate need of extra money. A Rastafarian, he agreed to get his dreadlocks cut so as to not stand out. Nonetheless, upon his arrival in Madrid, Spain, a customs officers found the drugs in his bags. He was arrested and eventually sentenced to nine years in prison. While imprisoned, his girlfriend wrote him to tell him she had lost the baby and was breaking up with him.
As with all episodes in the series the story is told through reenactment scenes interspersed with interviews with the real Morey. (NatGeo)
