Jamar was shown a clip of Queens MC Ja Rule speaking on his son wanting a "shirt skirt," whith Rule saying he initially didn't support his son getting one, but then reflected back on his own childhood, remembering the trends of his time that his own parents weren't fond of. Upon hearing this story, the Brand Nubian rapper admitted that he went through a similar situation with his own son who is now 21 years old and rocks skinny jeans.
While he says he understands that the younger generation likes and promotes men wearing tight jeans, shirts/skirts, etc., he refuses to pay for his son to rock that type of attire, so in the end, he had to figure out a way to buy those particular items himself.
