The Varsity Eight (The California Ramblers) play "Last Night on the Back Porch" on Cameo record 400, played on a 1926 Victor VE8-30X Orthophonic Victrola with medium tone needle. Acoustically recorded in New York City September 6, 1923. I know I promised to use my Victor VV-50 more for acoustic records, but I think the large Credenza horn does better justice to Adrian Rollini's fine bass saxophone work!
