Ayu

Ayu was born in Kyushu and grew up in Osaka in Japan. She started playing the guitar and singing with some friends in high school. In her first band there were 7 other girls :). For the University (which she rarely attended;) she lived in Tokyo where she started creating a lot of music (mostly Japanese pop songs).

After recording 2 albums with Universal Music Japan, Ayu set up a band called Pablonik, for which she also released a record. Then, she issued 2 acoustic, solo albums from Oasis. Hoping to explore more and make some new music, Miss Okakita stepped her feet in London in 2005.

To perform, Ayu uses loop stations and if lucky some friendly and not-so-shiny audience.
