Tower Struck Down are a five piece band well known around the country for breaking the mould of roots of rock and taking it into a whole new dimension. Always getting audiences all over the country and abroad up and dancing to their original blend of compulsive rhythm and driving melodies.

With their hard-edged approach to British folk-rock, Tower Struck Down has crafted one of the most dynamic sounds in the United Kingdom. Folk Roots praised the Glastonbury-based quintet for its "catchy melodies, memorable chants, and fiddle-driven rhythms." Formed and led by guitarist Cal, Tower Struck Down features the energetic fiddling of Northampton-born Fluffy. The band's drummer, Mike Lawton, who they met through the Realsounds Musician's Collective, previously played with Cellerheadz.

Their album "All The Kings Men", released on their own label Reaction Records, has received incredible reviews and sold well since its release . Appearances at festivals over the years has earned the band a reputation of musical excellence combined with ability to party day and night, always ensuring that everyone has a good time.

Tower Struck Down have played with an almost endless list of great acts including Fairport Convention, Chumbawamba, Tom Robinson, Kirsty MacColl, New Model Army, Justin Sullivan, Bad Manners, Back To The Planet, The Cardiacs, Shane McGowen and The Popes, Stiff Little Fingers, Theatre of Hate, Ozric Tentacles, Sham 69, Michelle Shocked and The Men They Couldn't hang.

The variety of acts reflects the extremely varied influences of the individual members of the band that combine to create Tower's unique sound. The bands festival reputation comes from playing memorable sets at Glastonbury, The Heineken Free Festival, Fairport Conventions Cropredy Festival where they were hailed as being the best band to open the festival in its history, Plymouth Soundwaves, Portsmouth Big Top, Glasgow Mayfest, Wolvestock as well as numerous folk festivals and major bike festivals including the British Motorcycle Grand Prix. The bands ventures into Europe include an extensive tour of the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia where they took the Eastern European festivals by storm.
