SAM TRUMP & THE ACOUSTIC AUDILE
Lead by the soulfully fluid vocals of Sam Trump, the Acoustic Audile collaborates to bring a smooth and relaxing, yet captivating sound in an unprecedented fashion! This sound is of Soul, Jazz and Folk with an instrumentation consisting of ukulele, acoustic guitar, flute, bass clarinet, upright bass, and percussion. With this sophisticated blend of strings and winds, audience members should expect to be transformed musically through alluring compositions and magical improvisation.

WOODWARD
Formed in 2010 by Joshua and Nicholas Gunty, Woodward are an experimental folk/rock project based in Chicago. Woodward produce an organic yet ethereal sound to emote their musical poetry. For Aural Reef at the Hideout, the Gunty brothers welcome jazz drummer Andrew Green to the lineup, with special guests Sam Trump (Horns), Kevin Swanson (Flute), and Catfish (Percussion). Acoustic guitars anchor vocal melodies that swirl through a sea of audio samples and hand percussion for a playful journey into the depths of psyche and spirit.
