Attempt at Perfection

Rooted for 11 years in the Long Island scene is the band Attempt At Perfection. Originally known as the Free Refills, their blend of Punk, Metal, Rock, Pop, Prog, and many other styles is quickly building a new look and a new hope for the scene in New York. After undergoing many lineup changes for 6 of the 11 years the band has finally rooted its lineup, Chris Donovan on Guitar and Vocals, Peter Dragone on Drums, Mike Fiorillo on Guitar, and Frank Milito on Bass and Vocals. The band has spent 2 years recording their follow up to their Debut cd "Psalms for the Broken". The album shows a new sound and look for the band as they continue to push the limits in their songwriting. Songs such as "Silhouettes In Sunlight" show the bands progressive edge yet keeping a punk and pop mentality, as well as the track "I'll take Infidelity for 500, Alex!" show the bands Metal edge. The band at this point is working on putting together an amazing cd release show as well as some tours for the upcoming year. Keep a look out as 2009 will be filled with lots of events!!!!
