DESCRIPTION:
Original promo 45 rpm from 1958. This gorgeous Nat "King" Cole-soundalike ballad was the first big hit for Earl Grant in the summer of 1958, rising to Number 7 on the charts. Tragically, he, at the age of 39, and his 17-year-old cousin were killed instantly in June of 1970 when the car Grant was driving from Los Angeles to Juarez, Mexico, went off the road on Interstate 10.
