Who is Th3sum? The new female Funkadelic Hip-Hop, and R&B, group mixed with a Disco Pop style. Who is Th3sum? America's new female group including three sassy, sexy, sophisticated ladies entering the industry outrageously. Th3sum is Louisiana’s very own, Neki-Dra, Mis. T, and Keia.

Blending all music genres, with funky bouncy hooks, Th3sum has managed to capture the fans of R&B, Hip-Hop and Pop. Initially, before the form of Th3sum, these ladies were working on their own solo careers. Neki-Dra was a solo rap artist getting managed by Keia in Atlanta, GA., and Mis. T was a solo R&B artist in Shreveport, LA. The three of them linked up in 2005 when Mis. T relocated to Atlanta, GA. The group started off with the names Unknown and Threemidy. Under those band names they performed at the Peacock in Atlanta, GA for Block Entertainment. That performance lead Threemidy to compete at Urban Idol, which was a live recording for FOX 5. Under the name Threemidy, they also opened up for Georgia Girls at the Pool Palace in Atlanta, GA.

In 2006 the ladies decided to change their group name to TH3SUM. "It was the perfect name for us. We were brainstorming for months to get a catchy name. and we also wanted to turn something negative into something positive. We are trying to show that we as artist, do not have to use profanity to express ourselves. We have to make sure that we as women maintain a certain respect for ourselves." says Th3sum.

TH3SUM Released their Demo in May 2007 entitled " A Taste of Th3sum and formed the independent label JuC Entertainment. They started their own promotional tour traveling throughout the states of Florida, Texas, Georgia, Louisiana, Tennessee, Ohio and other southern states. They also engaged in delivering many public school motivational speeches and charity/non-profit events with Hurricane Katrina Victims.

Not long after the release of their demo album, the single, "Jiggalate It" dropped in 2007 at a live radio interview at 99.7 JAMZ. It was the beginning of the attention TH3SUM had been seeking from the fans. “Jiggalate It” is a song that allows you to dance, shout, scream, and just have a good time. When you see these girls perform "Jiggalate It", jiggalating becomes contagious.

They are the only female group taking the industry over from all angles and all of them have something to bring to the table. The young three Entrepreneurs do the whole nine yards scheduling their lives around music. They rap; they sing. They make beats, ghost write, mix, master, and best of all; they give you an amazing performance!! A show you can't miss. "Our music is directed towards change.” says, TH3SUM.

They have performed with Dru Hill, Silk, Keith Sweat, Young Joc, Rocko, Ray Lavender, Paul Wall, Lil Phat, Hurricane Chris, Yung Burg, and many other industry artists. If they are not hitting you up vocally, they are flowing with attitude and heart. These three female artists write and produce their own material. When it comes to the beats, the sounds, and the funk, TH3SUM is on the job themselves. The girls just recently shot a BET commercial about HIV/AIDS and drug abuse. Th3sum says, "We strive to be positive role models for the upcoming generation."

In August of 2008 Th3sum organized a Back-To-School Jamboree with help from Jabba Jaws from 103.7 Tha Beat sponsored by JuC Entertainment and Lake Bethlehem Baptist Church. This event was for grades 1-12 and college students. It was designed for family entertainment and to provide school supplies for all the children that attended. The Jamboree was a huge success and there were also many motivational speakers encouraging kids to live their dream.

Th3sum has done hundreds of shows including the Sweet Auburn Festival downtown Atlanta, promotional school pep rallies, and other community activities. With never ending schedules, the girls put aside time to become active in several social projects. They reach out and help organizations against drugs, violence, and sheltering abused and homeless children. At the Youth Outreach Services/Jewels House, in Louisiana, the girls go on field trips, help tutor and donate funds to give back to their little fans.

While working with children Th3sum developed a stronger love for younger audience. They are now working on educational music for all ages teaching them everything from their ABC's to multiplication under the name the Tri-Angels. "We realized children love music and it has a huge influence on them and their actions. We want to give them something that they love and educated them as well. It is Celebration with Educations time.” says Th3sum.

The girls recently decided to add another field in their career. In November of 2008 Th3sum was called upon to audition for a play called "Wanda Smith and Friend". Wanda Smith directed it from v103.3 in Atlanta. The play was a sold out event at the Civic Center sitting 4,000 people. The girls performed as themselves in this play so it was a huge accomplishment for Th3sum.

In January of 2009 Th3sum became a part of History. They were asked to participate in a "Violence over Victory" parade downtown Atlanta. The parade brought thousands of people together. "We love to give back and see people genuinely happy and it is an experience we will never forget", Th3sum says.

In that same month, the girls did an amazing performance for the Inauguration. The show was at the Martin Luther King Center and they did their song "Jiggalate It". It was the perfect song for the occasion. Everyone out there was happy and in a good mood and "Jiggalate It" continued the crowds spirit that way.

It's about that time for the music industry to make way for Th3sum. It has been that time for this multifaceted female group to mark their territory in music history. These three beautiful ladies, Keia, Mis T, and Neki-Dra come together to give the world what’s missing; a natural FUNKalicious sound. While putting it all together to create this sound, this Hip-Hop group is taking it to another level with their unpredictable lyrics and keeping it street. They are uplifting souls with their rhymes and are capable of rocking any crowd. Watch out world for these hot girls. Layback, and enjoy this TH3SUM!!! When they say TH3 ya'll say SUM and get ready to party.
