ASSAF, the much-anticipated album by Mohammed Assaf features a stunning collection of new songs with unique collaborations taking Mohammed Assaf into a different genre with powerful lyrics and beautiful arrangements. Egyptian composer, Mohammed Rahim contributed two hit songs including Aywa Haghani "أيوه هغني", a regional hit with an electric hook and message that will capture listeners, and the romantic ballad, Mtfareen "متفرقين", arranged by Michel Fadel with a gorgeous melody, whose music is the score for the album promotional film. Legendary Melhem Barakat contributed, Shou Betkhabrouna "شو بتخبرونا", a composition in typical Barakat style with an upbeat production. Ziad Burji collaborated on several songs for the album, including, La Wayn Brouh "لوين بروح" which is the first music video release from the album, directed by South African Award winning Director Jac Mulder and another powerful song, Taah Neaad "تعا نقعد". ASSAF also features a traditional Palestinian song, Ward Al Assayel "ورد الأصايل" and an Iraqi modernised chobi track, Ya Bnaya "يا بنيه". For the iTunes deluxe and Anghami+ subscribers, two additional songs are offered including another Egyptian hit, Metmasek Byky "متمسك بيكي", produced by Walid Al Fayed. ASSAF is a new direction for the young Artist who has fast become one of the leading Arabic artists in the region.
