DESCRIPTION:
Officina Zoè is the most know italian musical group of "pizzica tarantata", an exciting rhythm from Salento Area in the deepest south of Italy.
Since 1993 Officina Zoé has one of the groups to propose with most strength the musical traditions of the Salento area, especially the pizzica, that is the ancestral rhythm of Salento soul: exciting and touching, therapeutic and hilarious, From immemorial time pizzica explodes in its absorbing hypnotic expression.
A frenzy that induces dance and obsessive movement, so much so that it was used in the past as a trance vehicle or even as a therapeutical source. one of the stronger elements in the musical rebirth of the whole of Southern Italy.

Créé en 1993, le groupe Officina Zoè se consacre à la "pizzica", musique traditionnelle du Salento, région située à l'extreme pointe méridionale des Puilles (Italie du Sud)
Officina Zoè est aujourd'hui reconnu comme le group phare de cette tradition grâce à un travail fait dans le profond respect de la tradition, mais avec la volonté de la revivifier par des compositions originales,
nourries de la personnalité musicale des interprètes, profondément attachés à leur terre et à cette région qu'ils vivent au quotidien.
Révélé au grand public par le succès du film "Sangue Vivo" dont ils ont été les principaux acteurs et musiciens à l'écran, le groupe est aujourd'hui devenu leader d'un véritable phénomène de société en Italie séduisant notamment,
le public des jeunes qui y trouve toute l'énergie d'un rituel collectif dans lequel se mêlent pareillement tradition et extraordinaire modernité.
