Hello Cellists,
As I prepare for a performance of Dvorak’s 'Dumky' Trio, I want to share my thoughts on getting ready for chamber music concerts. In particular ones with very few rehearsals. The Dumky Trio has a huge cello part, but to master any chamber piece you should also study the score. Listening to recordings with the score in order to learn the other parts ahead of time is important.
Please let me know if you have any comments and/or questions, I would love to hear from you. Thank you for watching!!
