Björn:
We're Björn and Marco of BLOOD BY DAYZ. We'll talk about why we play music and what's the good of this.
In my case it is a pretty personal thing. I sarted to play music when I was 13 or 14. It helped a lot to deal with problems. It always helped to get over that hump. I started because of the fun of it. I just covered he songs which I considered cool. When we started BBD I instantly enjoyed creating own things. I still love to be in the band because of the friendships, despite all daily troubles.
We don't gain anything from playing shows. It's just about hanging with your friends or people we have met throughout the years and drink a beer with them. This is what keeps me playing this music, driving to shows, rehearse and writing own songs due one's own creativity that breaks through from the inside.

Marco:
I 100% agree with you. It is a compensation to daily life for me, e.g. job, school, university.

Björn:
Yeah, I just saw that in my case. I come home from work and I'm pretty stressed. But as I sit down and play guitar for 30 minutes the world doesn't seem that stressful anymore.
Still, what's the good of all this? How does it personally influence me? Hard to say... I have found out that all this travelling makes you more open-hearted and open-minded as well as relaxed. I mean you just sleep anywhere or hang with anyone.
Well, thinking back to when I was 13, 14 years old being up on stage gave me some self-confidence as you have to present yourself. But it's hard to say which advantages creativity brings to my everyday-life. Well, it definitely helps to let out some aggressiveness.
