Bass Guitar - John “The Dr” McCarthy
Vocals, Attitude & Opinions - Simon “The Voice” Stafford
Drums - George “Modern Man” Graham
Formed by a group of mates back in the day, wanting to hear and play music that wasn’t manufactured or played by robots. Using our own musical influences we got to work with the resulting sound being distinctively heavy, raw and loud with lyrics charting the ups and downs of everyday life, a cross between The Sex Pistols and Oasis. “In your face Brighton rock”, was born.
Between then and now the lineup has changed several times, mainly due to Spinal Tap-itis (disappearing drummers). Now cured by George, who brings a slightly different sound to the band, being a clean living kind of bloke, fitter, and slightly more tanned than the others, the band have labeled him “The Modern Man”.
Previous gigs have captivated crowds and their participation in some songs make the night a special one off event, the highs being performing at the Concord 2 with the Sex Pistol Experience &, performing at the Glastonwick festival with John Otway.
In late 2007 on the back of many requests, interest from internet radio stations and local papers the Brighton 4 track EP was released. Recorded by Al Scott at The Levellers Metway Studio Complex and released in a limited edition format, this was our first properly recorded release, and was a success creating more of a buzz.
Currently gigging and planning our second 4 track release yet to be titled.
