DESCRIPTION:
The 2011 CMJ Music Festival just ended this weekend, and on Sunday I was thrilled to perform at uber-cool Wrap Party at The Ariel Publicity Cyber PR Offices in Brooklyn.

There were 3-floors of awesome going on, and I "Crashed The Party" with a few thousand friends via Google+! We set up an official "Google+ Hangout Room" on the top floor and played and chatted all day with people from The UK, US, Portugal, South Africa, Ukraine and more...

Including of course the invite-only crowd of bands, music industry insiders, the wonderful staff and hostess-with-the-mostess, Ariel Hyatt herself.

There were more bands playing downstairs (by the end of the night we were pulled on for a "main stage" set as well!) and they would pop up to say hi and meet our global entourage as the day wore on...

Mid-afternoon up the stairs came the guys from a gorgeous bluegrassy BK band called Jones Street Station (http://www.jonesstreetstation.net)

... And the next thing we knew, their harmonica player, Jonathan was sitting in on a cover of Jackson 5's "Want You Back" with us! ;-)

It was a fantasticly fun day that ran well into the night. Thank you to everyone who joined the Hangout, watched the livestream and who we met at the party!
