Kicking it old school back to the wonder days of early House is Carloh, who makes his hit I'm A House Gangster debut with 'El Dembow'. Built around an infectious vocal, 'El Dembow' is cut together with a retro house groove, built out of a plethora of sampled beats and treats. There's a massive bag of remix flavors to be devoured from the IAHG crew, including NYC's DBow who works up a tasty dub armed with a fierce bassline and Jesse Perez gets whizzy with the old school jackin' beats and rave sirens transporting us back to the late 80's. Chief Papi Chulo himself, DJ Sneak, cuts in with hi–hats, smashing out the Jackin beats with a hefty peak time dub dressed with a wobbly atmospheric bass line. Also on the release is the Hip–Hop fused 'Fuertes Seres' that's riddled with scratching, breaks and moody vocal stabs and underpinned by a incessant siren to bring the tension to the floor.

Inspired by the actual sound of the House, my music was recorded in the garage of my home with old records, dad's samplers and old school music cassettes - with this concept I wanted to go back to the past. – Carloh

From an early age, Carloh Quito of Ecuador showed his love and passion for music and was greatly influenced by the musical style of South America - folklore and music of the Andes. He started looking to fuse pre-Columbian musical instruments of Ecuador and for the authenticity of the sounds originating in the native land. He was influenced by his uncle and father, who were both dj's and taught him to mix turntables whilst learning congas and bongos. He later traveled to Europe and fell in love with electronic music and the rest is history. Carloh went on to create his own Latin fused flavors of House, Tech House and Techno and winning fans all over the globe in the process.
