DESCRIPTION:
Jireh Calo has been blowing our brains with her incredible talent ever since the first time we saw her play. It was in May of 2014, at her EP launch, when we first watched her put her hands on her keyboard and her mouth to the microphone and with barely a bar played, we knew that this 19 year old was a woman to watch out for. (http://radiorepublic.ph/blownaway-thejirehcaloproject/) With jazz as her main influence and the Berkeley School of Music in her future, Jireh is sure to be the future of Filipino music.

Luckily for us, Jireh was accepting of our being fans and allowed Radio Republic to be more involved with her career. Jireh Calo is leaving for Boston tomorrow to pursue her musical education and we would like to create this post in honor of her. The song is called Stay and it is apt since we hate to see her go, although we certainly support her departure.
