APTEKA - MURZYNEK BAMBO

APTEKA (lit. Pharmacy) originally supposed to be only a kind of perverse experiment with high school mates - had grown over his foundation, becoming one of the most important groups of Polish alternative and post punk music. Apteka was founded in the mid-80s in the Tricity as the initiative of Jędrzej 'Kodym' Kodymowski and Maciej Błasiak. Their phonographic debut on the compilation 'Gdynia', published in 1988, was presenting artists associated with The Gdansk Alternative Stage.
The band has released nine albums ('Synteza', 'AAA...', 'Big Noise', 'Narkotyki', 'Live'92', 'Urojonecałmiasto", 'Menda', 'Spirala', „Apteka"), has played hundreds of concerts, won awards and distinctions.

Kodym, the leader, is a sensational songwriter, able to infect listeners with his timeless ABSURD, commenting on the reality of the Polish little world and human stupidity, using the language of primitive and mundane, but as usual, accurately. Also touches on subjects such as death and destiny. It can be sad that Apteka is a Polish Marcel Duchamp, they are shocking by the form, mocking at the behaviour of receivers, finally gaining the applause of the crowd.

APTEKA początkowo miała być tylko rodzajem przewrotnego eksperymentu kolegów z liceum - wyrósł ponad swoje założenia, stając się jedną z najważniejszych grup polskiej alternatywy i post punku. Apteka powstała w połowie lat '80 w Trójmieście z inicjatywy Jędrzeja 'Kodyma' Kodymowskiego i Macieja Błasiaka. Fonograficznie zadebiutowała na składance 'Gdynia', wydanej w 1988 roku, prezentującej wykonawców związanych z tzw. Gdańską Sceną Alternatywną. Zespół wydał 9 płyt ('Synteza', 'AAA...', 'Big Noise', 'Narkotyki', 'Live'92', 'Urojonecałmiasto", 'Menda', 'Spirala', „Apteka"), ma w swoim dorobku setki koncertów, nagrody i wyróżnienia.

Kodym, lider, jest rewelacyjnym tekściarzem, potrafi zarazić słuchaczy swoim bezkresnym ABSURDEM, komentując realia polskiego światka i ludzką głupotę, stosując język prymitywny i przyziemny, ale jak zwykle bardzo trafnie. Dotyka też takich tematów jak śmierć i przeznaczenie. Zespół Apteka to polski Marcel Duchamp, szokują formą, drwiąc z zachowania odbiorców, zyskując ostatecznie poklask tłumu.
