Anton Roolaart

Anton is a solo artist originally from the Netherlands but moved to the US when he was young. An accomplished composer and musician, Anton has been writing and recording music since an early age. He released his debut album in April 2007 when he released the album entitled "Dreamer" on the Umbrello Records label based in London. Dreamer continues to get very nice reviews. The music on Dreamer can be categorized as melodic symphonic rock. Anton's main instrument is the guitar but he also loves to compose with keyboards and synthesizers, incorporating various instruments into his compositions. Anton creates music as one creates a painting, splashing colors and textures of sounds and melodies onto an evolving canvas as the music changes in time. Anton enjoys listening and working with many kinds of music, including classical, ambient, rock, progressive rock, and jazz. He is involved in a couple of projects and is also currently working on his new CD which will be completed some time in 2011. His current CD can be purchased at CDBABY (see links on this page).
