Over 50 pupils from Doncaster's 'Riley School of Dance and Performing Arts,' have joined together to record a song celebrating the life of Bethany Fitzpatrick, (14) their former classmate, who died last year from pancreatic cancer.

The song, called 'Shine Down,' features many of Beth's close friends singing solo lines and the whole school joining in the chorus and magnificent finale.

'It was a very emotional recording session,' said writer and arranger Jon Barker, 'but we captured the emotion in the recording and everyone is delighted with the results.

This song was mixed in London by top Abbey Road producer Chris Traves

Proceeds from this recording of 'Shine Down' will go to Cancer Research, and in particular research into pancreatic cancer.

Beth loved singing and dancing and was a cherished member of the Riley school of Dance. 'Shine Down,' sung by children from 5-18 years old, celebrates the life of a wonderful girl who is sorely missed by all her friends and family.
