From the 2004 album Summerisle

I wanted to build a flow of filmic yet contemporary imagery to go with this beautiful and intensely lyrical track. My procedure was to reuse pop music video detritus by removing its iconography and stripping it down to light and colour and movement. I restricted myself to using music videos I downloaded from a torrent of top20 music videos by contemporary pop artists of 2010. Typically I could only use a quarter of the frame or less, in order to obscure everything but the briefest glimpse of who was in the centre of the frame.
