Led by saxist Andy Ballantyne, the Sidewinders hold court at the Rex with the promise of groovy classics and forgotten gems from the '60s soul-jazz genre, along with "some outrageous mash-ups thrown in for good measure." In the spirit of Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter and Cannonball Adderley, the sextet, which includes
