The Caravelles, are a female duo, consisting of Lois Wilkinson and Andrea Simpson. The British duo girl band, best known for their 1963 hit single, "You Don't Have to Be a Baby to Cry". They enjoyed the most success between 1963 and 1968 and before that they used to entertain at office parties and amateur shows. They chose to use the name 'The Caravelles," after the French airliner.
