A collaboration fusing traditions from Mali and the UK. Two songs that musically and thematically seemed to fit each other. "Green Brooms" tells the story of the sun of a broom cutter who refuses to take on his father's occupation, because of his 'noble blood' and 'good learning'; while "Baninde" describes a noble person's ability to refuse.
