This is album brings together the roots reggae of Lucas Trigueiro de Carvalho feat. The Immigrants. Composed by Jamey Zebrack on keyboards, Wes Stannard on bass, Elliot Jacobs on drums, and Lucas Carvalho on guitar and lead vocals, The Immigrants became a group after they participated in the Bob Marley Ensemble at Berklee College of Music. Since then they formed friendship, became a band and started gigging. They put together a number of tracks that led to the production of their music, by Lucas Carvalho and Jamey Zebrack. After graduation each member took their path but soul of The Immigrants would never die. Lucas Carvalho went on to write more reggae and record new tracks, back to the native brazilian roots. The last three tracks of the disc are excerpts of a Dup Opera. They outline an instrumental picture, that brings together the brazilian cavaquinho, flute, melodica, percussion and synths. We are from Amazion, yet we live up in a Babylon, it is time to honor the sons and daughters of the Lion, the saints of the Earth, and our Lord Jah Rastafari.
