Friends since high school (at the Educational Center for the Arts in New Haven), pianist Noah Baerman and guitarist Amanda Monaco formed the group Playdate in 2008. Their debut CD was released on Posi-Tone Records, and the group continues to perform their blend of original jazz compositions and contemporary jazz standards in the tri-state area, as the Amanda Monaco Three.
