DESCRIPTION:
The funeral service at Gallier Hall, 545 St. Charles Ave., New Orleans, on Saturday, May 12, at 11 a.m. Visitation and musical tribute will be held from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. On Friday, May 11, Mr. Batiste will lie in repose at Gallier Hall from noon to 7 p.m. A musical tribute will be held Friday from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Final committal will be in St. John Crematory. A traditional Jazz procession will follow the funeral service.
