almeyda

Almeyda is a project that emerged in 2005, after the experience of living the mutek festival held in Mexico City. Since then, Almeida has been constantly working on the experimentation of sound and rythim. As an integral part of his production he has been working on the production of other side projects, like Songs for Eleonor with Karen Ruiz, and Sonido Trucha a more latin based sound. He has played twice at Mutek Festival i Mexico, as well as in SXSW in Austin Texas. He has shared stage with acts like Richie Hawtin, Troy Pierce, Tujiko Noriko, Beach House, Circlesquare and Ulrich Snauss. He is currently working on his second Songs For Eleonor album.
