Spitfires United - "Cue Ball" LP (Discography Part 1) - Video
PUBLISHED:  Sep 14, 2016
DESCRIPTION:
Spitfires United was a streetpunk/oi band from DC that managed to record three full length records between 1999 and 2003, none of which saw the light of day aside from two songs on a split with Alleged Bricks (not included on this video but on the follow-up Part 2). This is the first unreleased LP from Spitfires United. It never had an official name, but I'm calling it "Cue Ball" because it was recorded at Cue Studios in Falls Church, VA sometime in 1999 and we had a ball making this record. The live tracks were recorded at the Black Cat sometime in spring 2000. I was the only sober one onstage but it was one hell of a night and is presented here with all its pimples, missed notes, and drunken ramblings.

Vocals - Will Field
Guitars - Mikey Stilts
Bass - Richard Gibson (Chris Suspect on live tracks)
Drums - Kent Stax
Produced by Tom Lyle
