From our original 2006 Bio:
"Who the hell is allanCampbell? This is the question on the lips of those who have yet to witness a truly unique experience. Just as Ken Kesey urged us to step through the doors of consciousness and inhabit the beyond; allanCampbell, through the unspoken language of the psychedelic, push us toward this light.
Whilst their beginnings could be taken from the pages of your typical Australian group; that is, two brothers grow up in country Victoria, move to the city and start experimenting, in music, art, life; what becomes the end product of this story is truly original. Having left Stawell a couple of years previously, brothers Damian and Michael create (with the help of drummer Mark Sibson and then bassist Dylan Callanan) the AC moniker, strangely enough after two childhood neighbourhood street names. Dylan left the band in 2004, only to be replaced by the infamous Dave Johansson (ex-roadie to Magic Dirt and bassist of proto-stoner punks The Convulsions) who traveled with the band till their final line-up change with Shaun Petty replacing Johansson in 2006.
With the solidifying of the line-up came the acccolades; a hoard of local musicians and underground press jumping on the bandwagon - offers to play tours, concept nights, live radio shows and small festivals all down or on the cards for these likely gents from the town of Geelong.
In September 2006 AC entered Soundhouse Studios and within a week laid down five tracks for their debut self-titled EP. In an attempt to create the energy that the shows were now gaining the reputation for, each track was played live; with engineer Wayne Trait effectively capturing the interplay between the group. What resulted was just the beginning for allanCampbell"

(2007-2009)
With the momentum of 2006 we continued into 2007 and 2008 with continous shows promoting our EP and our psychedelic sounds. This included touring Adelaide and regional Victoria, headlining the Devil's Kitchen Festival '07 and '08 for the Geelong leg, and supporting such bands as My Disco, The Vascoe Era, and The Hoodoo Gurus.
By 2009 exhausted from consitant touring and gigging, first to go was founding member Damo, departing the band, leaving Michael, Shaun and Mark to continue as a 3-piece. Who then played out the rest of the year, finally finishing up, and disbanding in Sept of 2009.

(2013)
