Yvan Agbo was born in Dakar, Senegal. He started to play the guitar at the age 4 and was featured on TV for the first time at age 6. After working with various artists in Senegal, he moved to France to team up with his brother Alain Alioune Agbo guitarist player of Miriam Makeba on various musical projects. Throughout his musical development, he created an original and unique finger style technique reminiscent of Wes Montgomery. His electrifying fret-board work and stylish use of octaves makes for a unique listening experience and establishes Yvan Agbo as a rare musical talent.
