Alight? This tune sure is lit! Fire Emblem Fates music is wonderfully scored for orchestra, but I love deconstructing these complex map tunes into their simplest parts and applying some jazz grooves to em!

While browsing for songs to cover through my request list, I stumbled upon this tune and listening to the normal version! I knew that most Fire Emblem music map have their calm versions and their energetic versions for when battle occurs, so I decided to check out the Alight (Storm) version of this tune. And man, am I glad I did, the Storm version had so much potential for a latin jazz groove that I couldn't resist giving it my usual interpretation. I also asked for help from a bunch of my viewers by clapping a certain rhythm for this video!
